Finally, the Bali bombers (Imam Samudra, Amrozi, and Ali Gufron) faced the firing squad after yesterday midnight (11/09) at 00.01 AM (Indonesian Time). They were executed on Bukit Nirbaya (Nirbaya Hill) 3 km away from LP Batu, Nusakambangan Island.
The Bali bombers were sentenced death penalty in 2003 because of bombing Bali in 2002. It was deadliest terrorist attack in Indonesia, and at least 202 people died in the incident, most of whom were Australians.
